DESCRIPTIVE INFORMATION
On the left in the background you see the young Valerian and an unknown friend, intent to eat. On the right we see the young man, who every year went fast at Monte Cassino, standing next to the friend depicted with horns, and cripple sbracato (that reflects the devil and temptation). In front of the main scene on the left, with St. Benedict granting forgiveness.
